Among Edipower’s main environmental objectives we point out:

• rational and efficient use of energy resources and raw materials;
• use of the best technologies to prevent and reduce environmental impacts;
• pursuit of continuous improvement of technologies and know-how;
• communication between company management, citizens and institutions;
• training and creating awareness of environmental responsibilities;
• systematic implementation of officially recognized schemes for the environmental management of energy production activities.

Edipower continues its path towards the implementation of environmental and safety management systems in all its Production Sites, in compliance with the applicable technical standards and european legislation. In particular, the EH&S Department has completed the UNI EN ISO 14001 environmental certification program and is working to obtain the EMAS registration for all Edipower Production Sites.
