The Sustainability Report

Within the continuous development of the society, it is currently necessary for the economic parties to have more ethic, transparent and socially responsible behaviour. Edipower, who is aware of its role, therefore intends to reinforce the communication and relationships with the parties, who for various reasons, are interested in the development of its activity of energy producer.

Edipower has therefore decided to shift, in 2005, from exclusively environmental reporting to the Sustainability Report with which it intends to carry out an activity of widespread communication to all its stakeholder in terms of credibility, reliability, social and environmental reputation, within the pursuit of its economic objectives of increasing turnover and competitiveness.

The environmental declarations

The environmental declaration gives Edipower the complete knowledge of each of its power plants and its environmental impact. The environmental statement is subject to validation by an accredited auditor and approved by National Ecolabel Ecoaudit Committee.

The Environmental Declaration is published only for the Production Sites already EMAS registered. For these power plants the environmental declaration is updated each year: with the addition of new elements it is possible to compare the existing data and analyze the variations that have taken place.
